Support Local Animal Rescue at Fall Car Show

The Endangered Animal Rescue Sanctuary (EARS), a nonprofit organization in Citra that exists specifically to provide a permanent home for unwanted and/or abused endangered animals, will hold a car show and fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., November 17.

There will be custom-made trophies, a 50/50 auction, vendors, music and great food. EARS rescues animals that are in need of help, from tigers, lions and cougars to bears and primates. The tigers and lions at EARS like to play with pumpkins, and the bears play and then eat them. Donations of your pumpkins are welcome, so call ahead.

Spectators are free; cars, trucks and motorcycles are welcome with a $10 show entry fee. The event is located at the private home of David and Sue Nassivera, 2250 NE 70th St. (Hwy. 326), Ocala. For more information, call Sue at 352-266-2859 or visit EARSinc.net.
