Meet The Ballet Dancers

Sep 04, 2019 09:03PM ● By Sheila Mahan

The public will have a rare opportunity to experience an intimate performance by the Dance Alive National Ballet dancers up close and personal from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., September 27, at the Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention. Participants will get a glimpse of the upcoming season, along with a live auction by Ben Campen, hot and cold hors d’oeuvres catered by Sweetwater Catering and décor by Unforgettable Events.

Dance Alive National Ballet (DANB) features an international roster of award-winning dancers. Elegant and exciting, they are at the heart of the company’s success. DANB repertoire ranges from the quintessential, classic Nutcracker to the cutting-edge movement of contemporary ballet. Throughout this choreographic tapestry are woven the ballets of Artistic Director Kim Tuttle and Choreographer-in-Residence Judy Skinner, whose distinctive artistic styles brand the company.

Admission is $75. Location: 811 S. Main St., Gainesville. For more information, call 352-371-2986 or visit DanceAlive.org.
